By the way, I`m going to a festival in Berlin next weekend that features this lineup:

Eskobar
Sportfreunde Stiller
The Streets
The Hellacopters
Readymade
Tomte
Mia
Kettcar
Pale
Ladytron
The Monochords
Tricky
Turntablerocker
Kosheen

Should be fun .

Well I LOVE the Hellacopters, and I saw them live a couple years back. They were great.
The Streets are SOOO bad live. I saw them twice last October, because they were playing this festival
that I went to in 3 different states

I've gotta buy my tickets to Veruca Salt next week. I'm also trying to decide if I'm going to go and see Death In Vegas
or not....

Yes they are quite a good live act.
But when I want to hear Drum&Bass I prefer going to some club.
Have you ever heard of Total Science, Concorde Dawn, Tech Itch and Decoder, Ed Rush and Nico, Cause for Concern or Panacea? That´s some wicked stuff. I also have some favorite D&B DJ´s like Shimon, Blame, Andy C, Ed Rush, Grooverider, Doc Scott, DJ Friction.

To be honest Veruca I´ve never heard of The Streets before. I´m lookin forward to seeing Eskobar, Sportfreunde Stiller, Hellacoptors, Kettcar and Mia mostly, Kosheen´s a nice bonus but I´ve seen them a couple times allready and in better locations too (they belong in a club, not some festival tent).

Not sure if I would go see Death in Vegas. Hmmm maybe. I´m not too much of a fan. I know you like em though. So why wouldn´t you go?

well...you can't go to everything. I pick and choose what bands I see pretty carefully, especially
international bands, as they do tend to end up being a VERY expensive night out.

Toad,
I like the "traditional" version, so it's hard to compare the reverbed one to that....

well, pretty much a bit of everything. rock, alternative, pop, country, rap...i don't really have a favorite per se. in my cd changer right now i have dave matthews, the dixie chicks, the beatles, red hot chili peppers, norah jones, and the gone in 60 seconds soundtrack, if that gives you an idea. i am always open to your suggestions though

Those two guys are still around? Used to like them in the mid 90`s. What kind of music do they make these days?

J Mascis just toured here recently, so he's obviously still playing around.

I'm listening to Interpol because I just bought tickets to see them next month, so I may aswell get
in the mood. Also going to see The Dandy Warhols (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY), The Kills & Hot Hot Heat in the next month, so
I'll be listening to them a lot.
