Lets say
If you guys had the #1 pick would you rather have Yao or Lebron? But to make things fair, you only can only garner information from what you heard before the draft. Therefore, you never knew about Ming's 27 pt, 18 rb game against the twin towers and you don't know how James plays in the NBA. Yao Ming 22 years old, 7'6" 297lbs China James 17 yrs, 6'8", 235 lbs Akron Ohio I would've went with James just because his stock is so high. With Ming, it would've definitely looked like a project with alot of what-if's (like it did in real life). who would you guys pick?

It's hard to go against agood young 7'5" center like Ming.
James did look pretty good in that game last week though. |

I would have taken LeBron because Yao was more of a mystery, you are not really sure what you are getting into, while LeBron looks like a stud. Now if I knew what I know now about Yao, I would probably still take LeBron, but it wouldn't be as sure of a pick.

big men with skills like yao or to hard to find. theres plenty of guys at whatever position lebron decides to play who are better than him but yao will be 1 of the top centers by years end

LOL, no doubt, Yao. I'd take a 7"5 kid with skills you can'teach over a hyped up high school kid.
