Default Anyone remember this from TO?

Me and a friend who also is a Cowboy hater were talkin' today and he brought up the game where Terrell Owens basically becomes "TO". I've always heard about this game but never really seen it until now on Youtube. Wow. I've never seen a guy this emotional during a professional sports game. Is this really "TO" crying? Crazy how humble he was back then.

Here's the link:

Craziest part to me is how subdued the call is from Summerall-Madden.

Man, did Young thread that ball or what? He squeezed it through 5 different defenders!

That's the genius of Summerall-Madden (well, of Summerall) ---letting the crowd noise tell the story instead of yelling and screaming like idiots.

Different sport, but the absolute worst sportscaster for getting hysterical over the most routine of plays is that idiot Kevin Harlan. He makes me want to stomp on his face RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!

Looking at that video......Damn, Kevin Gogan was a big boy.

Yea I don't get what else the Packers could've done in coverage. Young threw a great ball and the Packers safety still got a good lick on TO but he didn't fumble. I agree about the announcers. Summerall and Madden at their best.

I had to watch this a couple times...

TO is flat-out amazing... Of course, he should be, considering the QBs he's played with - Steve Young, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo, and the great Drew Bledsoe (haha - just kidding!)

Actually that was kind of the reason he was crying so much. He had dropped the ball 3 or 4 times in that game already and had almost cost his team the game. When he made that catch, it was his redemption for a pretty bad performance up to that point and the tears of emotion came out.

They replayed a chunk of this game on ESPN a couple of months ago, and it was pretty fun to watch. The 49ers had a Green Bay curse going where they just couldn't really beat Favre. That TO catch helped break a string of futility of the Packers and was kind of the last hurrah of the Young era.

Man I miss Summerall so much. I wish he could come back and do some games...maybe just Dallas games.
