It came down to the last shot twice this season in Denver. We got away one time and lost today. Sounds pretty fair. Would have been nice to close out the 8pt lead with 2:00 minutes to go though.

That was a painful way for our guys to lose, but they have to learn you cannot take plays off in the 4th quarter. They were leaving guys wide open, at times they would get to the shooter but not put their hands up. And Dirk missed a big FT also. It sucks we lost, but hopefully this is a reminder to the team of what happens when you don't go all out.

Yeah, it doesn't bother me at all that they lost on a buzzer beater in Denver. Only thing that bothers me is blowing an 8-point lead with 2 minutes left. Just can't do that.

What an annoying loss. The Mavs are on another level to the Nuggets and they had multiple opportunities to put the game away.
 Then again Dirk had another average performance and the Mavs were only a shot away from winning. |

well look at it this way... this is probably how the kings and the cavs in the 2 games before this and all the other teams that we beat 9 times out of 10 in close games feel

Great game, and served as a reminder that you don't always get the W. Also that if you want to win, dont blow leads and make sure to hit your free throws. It's one of many possible matchups but I am not phased one bit by this. We still have an ace, Denver is only going to get worse before the playoffs so why fret? When we all know melo is gone in 2 weeks

I'm not sure I agree that much with not closing out on threes. Billups took one 10 feet behind the arc and hit it. Carmelo was taking them from a standing ready position and went 5-7 for goodness sakes.
Just a bad day for 3pt defense as both teams shot over 40%... Yuck...Chauncey seemed like he was nuts but Camelo went 70% for goodness sakes...ridiculous...

I'm not saying that every 3 was evenly contested. But I'm sure not saying that "we weren't closing out hard on their threes" because that wasn't why carmelo wen 5-7..
