I just want see this team make a conservative effort to stop guys from just getting into the paint and getting what ever shot they want.....

I also would like to see guys play through a bad call and continue to play defense instead of just completely stopping while their man proceeds to get wide open shot.

Stuff like that will get you beat in the playoffs if you can't find away to play through adversity.

It's not like the Mavs didn't blow games all year that they should have won vs lesser teams which left them in this situation to possibly face the Clippers.

No sense in getting upset with another team making decisions that they fill is best for them.

40 point 1st qtr damn near allowed

The starting lineup will be one of the worst defensive lineups going into the playoffs and it will be compounded by the fact that we can't defensive rebound very well with that lineup.

I expect then to try and win playoff games in a shootout with that lineup

He hasn't all year and his defense hasn't been nearly as good this year

So I hope you aren't expecting a single individual player to make that big of difference.

Porzingis needs to go to the bench. Mavs struggle so hard with athletic teams. Clips will probably sweep us.

I think Powell replaced Maxi like 3-4 weeks ago

It's been heading that way for awhile.....

Maxi hasn't really played the same as last year either and our rebounding flaws won't improve with Maxi

I looked it up. Only his last two games on 5-11 and 5-12 where he was limited minutes wise after returning from a 4 game absence.

He was replaced in the starting lineup back in April hasn't started a game since then

It's quite clear RC has decided that he's going to try and get this team to win games with the so called #1 offense from last year

Look at that starting lineup we used to close out the season and it's exactly the same lineup they used before Powell going down last year and people proclaimed them the best offense in the NBA.

I think they have all but giving u[ trying to find a competent defense because Richardson didn't really fix much
