Default PGT: Thanks OJ Mayo!

Props to Collison for his good game!

Mayo was fu**ing horrible, awful, terrible, any more words? I would have hoped RC benched him with 3 minutes to go in the 4th but damn, better if he would!

Denver will run on the Mavs tomorrow...

Thanks Ref.

Thats like a typical 2006 game. We choke but the opponent still need all the help of the zebras.

First Ibaka travels after a block taking like 10 steps and then fouling Kaman...pffffffffff

Mayo was of course beyond terrible in the crunchtime. Four terrible TO.

I hope this game is a confidence boost for DC. But they should stuck him in a dark room with hours of Barea/Dirk plays on tape

Mayo was just so bad tonight. It's actually scary. Such a shame, they had a good chance tonight.

Hard to imagine what will happen tomorrow against Denver..Collison 1-11 and 6 turnovers.

After looking like a guy ready for the spotlight earlier this season, EVERYTHING just looks too big for him recently. Has something happened to him that I don't know about?

I'm shocked to be watching the same player who had so much speed, athleticism, and guts earlier this season looking like a deer in the headlights recently.

Makes it three OT losses in which we played stupid but in two also got terrible screwed by the Zebras (Celtics and Thunder)

12-17 instead of 15-14

Maybe Mayo is having some off the court issues. Dude has just imploded. he looked scared in the OT tonight. Dirk cant be expected to carry them down the stretch after missing 2 months...

So true... three missed calls in favor of OKC in crunch time in a one possession game are too much. They say you gotta play through it, "they" can suck it. You can't win this way.

Also game reminded me of how Rick used to overplay JET in games he essentially sucked badly. Same with Mayo today.

Mayo can't be the man. His decision making sucks, he can't run the offense, he can't find Dirk. He cost the game for us tonight.
DC was unbelievable tonight, but still he can't run the offense.

The Mavs need Mayo to be a confident Robin. Pulling him would destroy his confidence...you have to stick with him.

3 Crazy no calls in the Thunder's favor tonight:
Durant not getting called for contacting the ball off the backboard (The same play he drove the court and had that amazing dunk),
Kaman not getting the call when he clearly got hit in the head, and
Ibaka getting like 4 or 5 steps without being called for a travel.

Did anyone else see those differently than I did? Because to me, they seemed like easy calls.

Not really sure his performance tonight added to his confidence. I get the big picture stuff, but think this win would have meant a lot to the team and they would have had a better shot without him and his turnovers.

It was right there with JET's game 6 vs. MIA in 2006.

Mayo padded his stats vs. bad teams. Now the competition gets tougher and Mayo is nowhere to be seen. Mental wreck. Can Rick fix it ?

Add that out of bounds play off Ibakas foot with 2:09 remaining in regulation. This + Kaman + Ibaka travel are the three crucial calls in crunch time I mentioned. Hard to overcome.

Do not blame the refs. Stupid turnovers killed us. And last time i checked Mayo missed 2 FT.

That AND some pretty outrageously bad calls. Not blaming the loss on the refs, but am blaming them for missing some stupidly easy calls.

No, thats the thing. A lot of people saying Mayo chocked this game away. Sure. But hell, without this bs non-calls we win WITH Mayo choking like crap.

Same as 2006. We choked terrible. Still without the refs we win...

The refs had a big say in this game, too. No question, some hilarious calls went OKC's way, but that's not the first time OKC won because of that!

Always thought it would be a L but after leading the whole time...

And Dirk with tired legs ad no stamina is a still a better shooter than anyone on the Mavs. He did not even shoot the ball in the 4th or overtime except for that busted play with him at the 3 point line trying to race down and shoot it.

Dirk's decision. Carlisle's decision. Doesn't matter. Put it in his hands.

Ughhhhh Mayo...whyyyy? Well the maybe bright side is hopefully people won't suck when they stop being sick. Kaman looked at least half decent and Collison finally came around. I just had this gut feeling that the Mavs would keep it close but still lose. Ughhhhh!

More on this later but Carlisle has got find some pairing that fit. For example, Dirk and Kaman are horrible together. Dirk will be best with Wright and or Brand. Wright doesn't rebound like Brand but Wright is a better shotblocker and scorer inside. Dirk can operate the high post without fear of Wright or Brand clogging things up like Kaman does.

Collison and Mayo. One needs to not be with the other. It is just too much stupidity together. They are the equivalent of Lloyd and Harry out there. If Collison is the PG then have Jones or Carter out there for IQ.

You cant move OJ to the bench. And i like Collison as starter more than Dojo.

But im a fan of moving Kaman to the bench and start Brand beside Dirk to improve the D. And Kaman could go off against the 2nd units...

Not saying he is Dirk in any way but the being sick stuff has gotta stop for all players.

The Mavs have to deal with Nowitzki the same way the Spurs do with Duncan. It's not the best idea to run his legs out during the season (cough cough Mike Antni), but you have to find a way to run the offense through him as well. Mayo and Collison are both way too impatient running the offense with the big man.
