Two characteristics of the riders on the Tour de France. It is truly refreshing to me to see guys helping each other up after falls, waiting to see if each other are ok. Wanting not to win because of a crash, but rather wanting to compete against the best and seeing who is the best. Those who are competing despite broken bones, incredible odds, etc. Ullrich, Armstrong, Beloki, Hamilton....these guys are what makes sport worth watching, worth being a part of, worth participating in. Regardless of who you are pulling for to win, you have to be impressed with the makeup of the riders. We need some good news out of the sports world. We are getting it in the Tour de France.

I liked when Armstrong (after having a hard fall and after slid a pedal) patted on the back of the guy who had been the leader in the last miles, when passed him.
