The Mavs were an average Dirk away from beating the Lakers. So what?

Okay no Kobe, but ppl have to understand that he actually makes the Lakers a worse team on more nights than not this season.

I dunno know...with the Lakers playing well w/o Kobe, I could see Brown "benching" Kobe here or there if he doesn't get with the script. He has already benched Kobe against the Griz. Secondly, this year, Kobe has been a willingly passer against the Mavs for some reason.

I don't believe in tanking. But I do believe that it would be favorable to miss the lakers. Bynum will have his way with us offensively and defensively. He will build his church in the lane defensively. Almost the only way to counteract that is to go with dirk at center for stretches. Possibly Ian in there as he's the only center that can hit a shot beyond 10 feet.
