PGT: Mavs get revenge on the Nugs
Dirk and Parsons rediscovered their shot, Tyson with a double-double... Powell with 14 minutes off the bench, Smith with 0.
Nice win for the good guys.

Still a work in progress. Wasn't pretty, but at least we got the win.

Looks like Dirk is finding his shot from deep again which is a good sign. Overall a good win. Lawson had a rough game. I like what I see out of Powell. Good hustle and doesn't look to be out of place or overwhelmed on the court.

Too many Chandlers made the radio broadcast hard to follow at times.
Chandler brings the ball up. Chandler sets a screen on Chandler, now a bounce pass to a rolling Chandler for an easy lay in over Chandler.

One of the best things about having to watch the Mavs on League Pass is that half the time I get the other team's announcers. They often suck, but I love to hear them talk about the greatness of Dirk. They never fail to call him one of the greatest of all times, and to compliment what we all take for granted, and there is so much, like his ability to draw fouls from his infinite variety of fakes. The level of respect he has from all the announcer teams is incredible.

You know you can always choose, right? You drag the game up into the Mavs side and it will always be the Mavs announcers. Sometimes you have to click the x in the upper right to be able to select again, but 100% of games I've been able to choose Mavs announcers.

I actually almost always choose the other teams announcers on purpose, just to hear a different perspective. I kinda know what harper is going to say, hearing the other opinion is more enjoyable to me.
Except in some cases. The worst announcers are the ones that harp on referees, just like in the gdt.

I get a choice if I watch on my computer. But I usually record them on my Dish Network DVR, in HD, that I can watch on any TV in the house. And its a lot easier to skip the commercials, and replay a play by hitting the back up 10 seconds button.

I don't know if this is Rick's thinking but it seems Aminu tends to play more with offensive-oriented centers (Wright and Powell) but CV gets the time with defensive-oriented ones (Smith).
If that's the case I like the combination of Powell/Aminu more than Smith/CV.

Aminu is about rebounding. RC clearly wants to stop the bleeding in that area.
Charlie, Smith and RJ gave up too many rebounds with the 2nd unit. Probably won't play together anymore.
Dirk/Powell and Aminu/Powell looked really great.

excited to hear that Aminu and Powell may be getting more burn.
Would be wonderful if one (or BOTH) of those young dudes blossomed into studs.

I wouldn't count on Aminu getting consistent minutes any time soon. I thought Rick used him to compete with a really athletic 4 in Faried. He did the same thing against Cleveland because of Love's rebounding, and then promptly buried Al again after that game.
The reality is, despite Aminu being really good in an area that we desperately need, he just can't stay on the floor in a lot of matchups when he's shooting 25% on shots outside of 5 feet. ESPECIALLY now that Rondo is here and Wright isn't.

The trade didn't make things easier on the floor for Rick. Despite this being the best team since 2011, he likes rebounding and 3-point shooting (well, who doesn't) and these are the areas we lack. I thought Aminu would be a classic 3&D guy, but nope and Crowder is gone. Surprisingly Jefferson has been the most solid player in that area. He's not an elite defender, but competes and has the long range going.
Championship campaign was crazy. Peja and Cardinal shot like 45% on threes as our 10th and 11th men.

My luck isn't good, though. 14-3 overall, but some awful losses lately.

Better than me. I think I'm winless so far this season.
