They are just going through a rebuilding process (and a good one at that, aside from that Rafel guy they drafted, New York should be taking some notes). They dont have a lot of experience but a lot of youth right now and will have tons of cap room when it counts... so whats wrong with them sucking right now?

Trading guys away for a player like KG isn't going to do squat for the mavs.

he doesn't have a post game and doesn't defend..He isn't clutch either.

the only reason to make a trade is to get a stud that can take the pressure off Dirk and command a legit double team.

That being said, get Paul Pierce to Dallas, pronto.
