Listen, D2K, I'm not here to discuss AJ's shortcomings. If AJ couldn't handle the player, AJ couldn't handle the player.

I'm not mad at it either. I'm a little concerned though. It did seem like for the better part of the game that Dirk was the only guy who gave a crap about winning. I don't know what I think about the whole 3 point specialist. We seemed to do just fine with what he had until the all star break.

Man, I wish we had more than 9 games left to get things figured out. I have faith in Avery though. He had to deal with adversity being thrown in right before the playoffs last year. I just really don't want this to become a 4 game losing streak come Sunday. Our record hasn't been so great on Sunday games nationally televised recently. Let's just hope someone steps up in the locker room and says "F' the injuries, F' the losing streak, and F' all the naysayers! Now let's go finish the season strong and get ready to win a championship!" I can hope, can't I?

Exactly who else is he supposed to rely on? Josh has just come back and the absolute worst thing that could have happened was for him to be pushed too hard and re-injure something.

Jason was getting torched all night, who else do you want to put out there to guard their points?

And after dirk/jason...who the hell else is there if you can't rely on stack. Dirk got 27 shots off...many more than that (the way he looked to me) wasn't necessarily a good idea.

This game was lost defensively, not offensively.

I don't think it's a matter of faith, it's a matter of execution. He hasn't been able to get into any kind of grove. I actually don't think he's a 3-point specialist, he's more rounded than that.

I'm not even crazy about having a specialist, just not having to put a guy like da at point who can't hit a 3 at all hurts. We have way too many guards who can't shoot well. DA, Marquis, Josh, Devin, Stackhouse...

Need a little better there.
