Yao already has the whole population of china's votes x5. He doesn't need any american votes.

I wish Deutschland would go balls out for dirk like that.

For a slap at Dan Tony &, maybe, Stern:
There is a conspiracy that started in the smoking area to try to vote Starbury onto the East starting team

This is an absolute load of crock! Where's JJB on the ballot???

You know what, I bet he's in by default which is why there's no need to vote for him.

Western Conference:

PG Chauncey Billups
SG Brandon Roy
SF Ron Artest
PF Carlos Boozer
C Andrew Bynum

Yes, I think this team would be very dangerous.

Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Yao Ming, Kobe Bryant, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, and company can come off of the bench. There are too many All-Stars in this league. Too bad. I want Bynum to be an All-Star starting Center. Too bad it won't happen with all the Chinese voters. I bet Pau Gasol will be the backup Center, and Bynum won't even be an All-Star.

Hehe, I had exactly the same votes in the Western Conference (everything for Dallas; only Damp was missing). Well, the East differed a bit. I had Garnett for Bosh and Calderon instead of Harris; yes Harris is playing great so far, but IMO Calderon is right now the best PG in the Eastern Conference.

It bothers me how the coaches cannot select their own starting lineups. I wish fans could just vote in 5 players for each team and that's it. Not necessarily the starters though.

Then we'd have a great game.

Hate to bring him up in the Mavs section of this site but seriously how does Luke Ridnour have more votes than Devin lol? Calderon and Devin should both be the pg's on the East.

That's simply ridiculous. Amare's and Melo's numbers are way behind Dirk's (in scoring AND rebounding), but they are still in front of him. That's trash at its best

NBA All-Star voting sucks every year, does anyone else notice that, the most popular players usually get in and not ones that deserve recognition.

Hmmm...I think I'll start voting for Yi...just to show how whack this whole thing has become. If he gets voted a starter that would just about seal it.

Okay. Just a way to prove the nonsense about the current voting system... Grandpa Shaq in front of Bynum, Biedrins, Camby... One look (not even a close one) about the stats is enough to recognize that something is wrong out there...

By the way, I have now voted for the following players (regardless their teams; sorry, not only Dallas' players like before). Just the ones who are the best right now IMO

East:
LeBron James
Kevin Garnett (yes, his stats are behing Bosh's, but he's playing great defense and without him Boston wouldn't never be that good)
Dwayne Wade
Jose Calderon (yeah, Harris is enjoying a great season too, but I think that Calderon is still a little bit better right now at PG)
Dwight Howard

West:
Dirk Nowitzki
Tim Duncan (yes, a Spurs player, but still a very good dude)
Jason Kidd (I really like his style right now, not only because he's playing for Dallas, just overall)
Kobe Bryant
Yao Ming (quite often injured, but currently the best center in the west, if he's healthy. Yeah, Damp is missing on the list... he was playing great recently).

Players should be in the positions that they play in the game, aka melo should be a f'ing guard, and amare should be with the f'ing centers.

I hate fan voting, its complete blasphemy.

Voted. Do you think this will work somehow. Maybe the game will last about 55 minutes on the western side, because of Shaqs speed.

Western Forwards:
Carmelo Anthony, Denver
Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas

Western Guards:
Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers
Jason Terry, Dallas

Western Center:
Shaquille ONeal, Phoenix

Eastern Forwards:
Chris Bosh, Toronto
LeBron James, Cleveland

Eastern Guards:
Allen Iverson, Detroit
Dwyane Wade, Miami

Eastern Center:
Dwight Howard, Orlando

I'm going to start voting for Yi because they'll have to change the process if he gets in. It's just too embarrassing.

Just made a new vote and this time I included Yi and Ridnour. Just to show that the voting system is nothing but retarded. If Yi overcomes Garnett, they simply have to change the system. It would be totally ridiculous and embarrassing if Yi becomes a starter in the All-Star Game.
