He's going to opt out

Richardson is only making a little over $11.6m next year. Crowder signed a 3 year / $29m contract and that's the WORST that Richardson could do. Nobody is turning down $18m guaranteed

KP is not going to be bringing the ball up and then throwing the ball to himself in the low-post.
If you say so.

KP got wrecked. He was effective until they started putting long guys in him. It’s stopped him all year.

LA doesn't take AD off the floor when teams go small and neither will Philly with Embiid or Denver with Jokic or Utah with Gobert.

I think sometimes the Mavs do exactly what other teams want them to do

How about playing some zone defense if you don't want KP defending smaller guys on defense

Vice versa KP could have had success vs the smaller Celtics by posting up it's not like he's a liability inside. Punish them inside and gurantee the Celtics would have been the team trying to adjust.

Even then Luka could have posted up to but I think the Mavs are so quick to give in often to what other teams want them to do.
Even KP said after the game he wants to be out there and attacking the mismatches. Seems everyone gets it but the coach.

I say so.

Long guys? Celtics ain't got no long guys.

But you know who gets 'wrecked' by long, athletic defenders?

Doc Rivers knows.

RC gets way too many passes on here from weird decisons.

He basically said oh well since Boston is going small I'm take KP off the floor.

Boston is a small team most of the game regardless they have no big's so the excuse he gave is B.S.

I'd rather have KP protecting the paint late in games as opposed to not having a rim protector

Gobert get's matched up all the time late in games on smaller players but guess what UTAH ain't taken him off the floor.

RC almost blew that damn game because of his poor decisions and really every time he gives a reason or excuse KP always tells the media something different.

Dude wants to play in all situations and RC is over thinking shit

The Celtics put out a really long but small lineup and it bothered everyone we had-- Luka included. KP was uncomfortable posting and driving on them and was out of position defensively on the other end and they were punishing him with quickness with Tatum as their center.

People complain about Rick going small, but Rick can't play a guy who is blowing it on both sides of the court so had no choice but to match their small lineup.
These #'s states otherwise

Just more RC excuses

I'm not buying that KP can't play vs smaller lineups if that's the case then are they going to bench him come playoff time late in games?

Kristaps Porzingis in 12 games since his Feb. 27 return from a three-game absence: 20.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 49.2/38.4/81.6 splits, Mavs score 118.4 and allow 107.2 when he's on the floor.

I'm sorry but we ain't paying KP max money to sit the bench just because a team goes small and if anyone agrees with RC's decision they are nuts

Whatever you want to believe.

Tatum is 6'8" with a 6'11" wingspan and was disrupting KP. That's length.
