I had to log in just to say what a effing game....

This team is for real. They don't quite EVER. Luka is the best in the league and is finally getting help. Just imagine a big man on this team. The league is in trouble for the foreseeable future.

WHAT A GAME!

Spencer is that dude! Rough start, early fouls.... He looked Luka and Kidd in the eyes and said i've got this coach.

Dinwiddie had 3 steals. Stuff like that is what separates him from THJ. The end 3 was insane, but he is doing other things to help out.

I've always liked him and was one of the few who would have loved to have him this summer, but nobody could have predicted this good of fit. Either he is that good or the Mavs REALLY lacked talent. Likely both at this point.

Its nice seeing the team stay dynamic without Luka having to resort to hero ball every time down the court
This is why I think keeping Brunson is a big deal. Maybe you can get away with 16-18m

Luka trust is in a groove. What a game by him. The kid should be MVP, for my money he's the best in the league followed very very closely by Jokic and Giannis.

Spence has hit a lot of big buckets since being here. It's official, he can't be off the floor down the stretch. It will be interesting to see if Bullock is the guy who he replaces to close.

Jazz don't have the same threat as KD. A lot of Drummond's stats were of direct benefit from doubling KD.

i felt like Luka went a bit late because you know he has to pass the ball once the double team comes. That leaves little time for the guy receiving the pass to do anything with it. In this case Din really only had time to pull the trigger. Would like to see him get the ball to Din with like 4 seconds so he has options: can pump fake and drive if needed or make another pass or shoot
I rewatched it and I agree. Not even time left for an offensive rebound and second chance shot or even a tip-in. It was a weird play because we inbounded from the baseline, leaving most likely even less time. I guess the staff liked the idea of giving Luka a head of steam. And I guess it worked!
