KG the D-bag
I don't know if this warrants it's own thread, but I didn't think it fit the "General NBA watching" thread. I'm sure everyone knows KG has been especially d-baggish since joing the C's. Picking fights with PG's like Calderon, Augustin, Bayliss and Euro's like Zaza. He made Big Baby cry. He always barks like an idiot on the court. I really cannot stand the guy. Now this:
http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball ... e_daniels/
Garnett wasn’t exactly welcoming to Pacers rookies A.J. Price and Tyler Hansbrough when he visited Indianapolis this summer to film a Wheaties commercial. As Garnett exited Conseco Fieldhouse, Indiana assistant coach Lester Conner asked him to walk over and meet Price and Hansbrough, who were working out. Garnett wasn’t exactly friendly. According to Conner, Garnett continued to walk out and remarked, “[Expletive] your rookies.’’ Said Price, laughing, “That pretty much let me know where I was at on the totem pole. I thought I was going to have a chance to talk to him for a second so I can say, ‘What’s up?’ and introduce myself. But I guess he shot that down real quick.’’ . . .

“[Expletive] your rookies.’’
No doubt Garnett is an a-hole but that's funny...

I really wish I can find the video of Anthony Peeler smashing his smug face in the 04 playoffs but stupid NBA is removing vids of ANYTHING publicity inducing vids off youtube (malice at the palace, nba fights, etc)

It just dawned on me why i find this so hilarious. It's basically the Rick James "f*** your couch" from the Chappelle skit.

I don't get it, there's no mention of dimebags in the story.

From the story it sounds more like it was emotionless. He probably didn't even look at the guy. Pretty funny though.

He might be a d-bag, but the rookies should be walking over to meet KG. Welcome to the world of NBA egos...

No offense, but...are you suggesting Kevin Garnett should stop down for an assistant coach and Tyler Hansbrough? The rookies should have saved KG the trouble and said "F*ck us."
Now go get Parcells another cup of water!

I'm happy about this...I would have found it harder to despise him if he was a classy dude.

There are so many better KG stories than this. Smacking teammates, emotional hissy fits, et al but this is pretty tame.
