I think everyone here is very down on Butler, way too much so. He's going to surprise a lot of people next year, and I would not be surprised at all if he averages in the 20's while proving he is a legitimate offensive option even when Dirk isn't on the floor.

I think that too.

I think he will work hard on his drive AND his outside shooting because now he has a good feeling what the team need and what he couldnt "deliver" enough to this team.

it was an off-year for butler in washington before the trade as well...

here is to hoping it was indeed an off-year, and not a place-marker on a new career trajectory.
