Default Detroit @ Dallas game thread

My predictions are that we lose. Poor defense again, no offensive game and probably some turnovers. They said this is a must win game if they wan't any chance to make it to the post season. Glenn is out for the season, Morgan is new and already injured, Randall Williams has spent four years in Dallas but has never caught a ball, and Keyshawn is Keyshawn on offense. So we have one reciever with no running game on offense today. If we have any chance in this game the defense must keep the Lions at 0 points.

Its a must win for many reasons.

The outcome of the Arlington Stadium vote could be riding on this one.

Based on that drive, I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions score 30 in the first half.

Witten's going to have the game of his life today. He already has 4 catches on the first drive.

EDIT: Make that 5 catches and a touchdown.

This game is disgusting. The Cowboys aren't even down either which i'm not sure what to make out of that. Why did we quit running the ball again? Because of the loss George had on one carry? I don't understand Parcells coaching this season. All it takes is one run for a loss and we scrap our running game.

The Cowboys started throwing the ball more on the last drive because there wasn't alot of time on the clock. George had 15 carries in the first half and will probably have 10-15 more in the second half.

Vinnie has been virtually perfect even with two picks. Keyshawn has been in the NFL long enough not to make the mental mistakes that he's making.

We're making excuses for the quarterback now? This has got to be a first.

The third interception was a bad throw. But, if you have any understanding of the game, it's not difficult to see that the receiver broke off his route on the first two interceptions.
Do you have any understanding of the game?

Feels good to get back in the win column.

Good to see Newman make a couple of play...he needs to get his confidence back. Of course it helped that Roy Williams was out, but you can only play whose in front of you. On a personal note, I'm really glad Roy was out since I want him to do well...just not at the expense of the Cowboys.

Great game by Whitten. Why didn't they put a corner or at least a safety on him at the half? He was also big in the running game.

Vinney was pretty sharp today. The last pass to Crayton was as precise as it gets. We don't get a 1st on that play, I don't think we win the game.

Eddie George just isn't very good anymore. He ran through a couple of tackles, but there were numerous opportunities where a good back would have gotten at least 3-4 more yards on plays.

The Cowboys really miss Julius Jones. He was their homerun hitter. You have to have a good running game to win consistently in this league. The Cowboys don't 6-10 is still in the Cowboys future.

He's targeting the Thanksgiving day game from what I understand. We play the Bears and I'm sure he'd like to run against his brother.

Woody tried to come back too soon and suffered a setback. Honestly, when you consider the nature of the injury and his age, it wouldn't suprise me to see him sit out the year.

This is one thing I do know oddly as Vinny played well last year for the Jets they were still losing games. Curtis Martin plays much better with the strong armed Testaverde. I also know that while quincy made his fair share of mistakes the cowboys still didn't make the playoffs. And if they thought that the Q had a problem they should have addressed it with Kurt Warner or a Kerry Collins. Hopefully the bills have a two or four win season and the cows can have two high draft picks to add a pass rusher and a playmaker on offense. Julius played one game give the kid a chance.
