Looks like we're gonna see the same old shit that we always see. They can only pull out the guns at home in front of their fans and talk shit like their actually going to try and win. It's all BS to make us think they are a good team. Well they aren't fooling me anymore I know this is the real team and they are'nt kidding anyone anymore. Last week against the lions was a fluke that's it.

I've been saying pretty much the same thing all year. Give me Henson so we can see our future (and suffer through the rookie QB blues this year).

But alas, I'm afraid we will be stuck with the old man (not saying he plays bad, but he's not the future... and this season is lost) until we get mathmatically eliminated from playoff contention.

That was a poor effort by Vinny on the QB sneak. That plays seems to have set the tone for the 1st half.

Well at least you know he did everything he could. I didn't get to watch them game, but I'm looking forward to finding out which interceptions were and were not Vinnie's fault this week.

I can't wait for the press conference. Everytime that Parcells acts indignant at the suggestion that the Cowboys start preparing for the future, he loses more credibility.

You have to admit, these threads were a lot more exciting when Quincy was here, due to the heavy controversy. For some reason this season has been a big yawn for me. I woke up today and had no real interest in watching the game. I can't tell you when was the last time that happened was. I don't know why, but this team bores me to death.

I actually fell asleep at halftime. I can never remember ever falling asleep before during a Cowboys game. Or at least not that early.

I think it should be obvious to everyone now why Testaverde was the second string QB in training camp.

If Quincy were here maybe we wouldn't be.......j/k

BTW, why was Quincy in the game? Pennington hurt again?

This game was just sick today. I haven't turned the channel on a Cowboys game since Dave Campo was here. I'm not even interested in this season and i've never said that about the Cowboys. It's like what are we playing for? We're not playing for the future and with our current roster we aren't playing for the present either. Then we have Bill Parcells. The guy everyone says is the reason why we were 10-6 last season. Where in the hell is he this year? He makes questionable calls all game. Every coach has a stinker here and there but this season he is just having a field day with them. 0-5 on challenges? Seems like we would benefit not even challenging a call we feel is worth challenging. The defense is horrible this year. We let Mario Edwards walk because he had a couple of pass interference calls on him but we fail to even upgrade our corner position? There were players out there too. Then we have Marcellus Wiley who still hasn't played a game for us this year. I thought the least he could do for us this year was play as bad as he did last season and he has played even worse. Whitten has been a bright spot all season long. He has had a couple of goof ups but he's rebounded from them. I even saw him holding his own today against Justin Smith. T-New had a bad showing a couple of weeks ago but has put together two solid games in a row which is a good sign for me because I was a bit worried about him. Why doesn't Bill play Rashard Lee more? Because he can't pick up the blitz? It's sort of like Bill is afraid to play young players. The only reason Whitten is playing now is because Campbell is hurt.

Witten was playing a significant amount even when Campbell was here. You aren't seriously saying that he wasn't a major piece of the plans this year, are you?

Wiley is holding his own against the run, which appears to be all he has to offer. He often leaves the game for Ogbogu, or sometimes Thornton, on passing downs.

But yeah, this season sucks big time. Or at least, this game did. I think it goes to show you how close a lot of games really are. If things had bounced our way, we might have been 5-2 going into this game. And I guess we are still the team that has played Pittsburgh the toughest all year.

The defense had some struggles early on, but you can't pin all this on them--even with the personnel decisions in the secondary. We are just way too predictable on offense. And losing Glenn and Bryant/Morgan is huge. We just don't have any big play guys anymore. And when there is only one possible way that Vinny can hurt a defense...and when you take that away...well, we just don't have any weapons.

We will still eke out a few more wins this year, but they will have to be hard-fought contests. We won't be able to run away from anybody.

We are in desperate need of a playmaker at RB.

RB, WR, QB... about the only position we are wrapped up at is TE on Offense.

Hell, McGahee had an excellent game today. What I wouldn't give to have him on our team.

If we don't play Henson soon I think I am going to lose my mind.

Please Bill, give us something to look forward to.

Yeah, our whole offense has been a giant yawn this year. Our wide receiver corps shrinks by the week. We don't have any running game whatsoever. Is Julius Jones still in existence? I haven't heard anything from him since about the second week when we were told that the injury would keep him sidelined for a while. Our QB can throw the ball, but as someone earlier, said he doesn't exactly have a lot of people to throw the ball to. After Keyshawn and Witten (who is quickly becoming my new favorite player), who is he going to throw the ball to? Randal Williams? Our defense is average. Aside from the weekly Roy Williams "woo hit," there is nothing exciting about our defense. We don't create any turnovers. It seems like we bring in a new name every week to start opposite to Terrence Newman. Most of all, I don't know if the magnificent tuna has been his normal self. I don't know, maybe this is just a wasted year while the franchise tries to get construction for Jerryworld underway in Arlington.

FYI, Quincy's stats today were 2-3 for 66 yards and 1 TD.

If Quincy were here maybe we wouldn't be.......j/k

BTW, why was Quincy in the game? Pennington hurt again?
Quincy came in to dominate midway through the 4th quarter after Pennington left the game with a bruised right shoulder.

At this point, I don't think theres much doubt that Henson will play, it's just a matter of when. That being said, I don't know that a Monday night game against a pissed off Philly team is the best place to start you're career.

Either way they're gonna be a pissed off Eagle team. It's a matter of how you want to be embarrased on national TV... by throwing 8 INT or getting your Quarterback suffer 2 concussions.
