It's not really a 500 team, it has a negative point differential against a 44.3% win percentage sos. In other words, so far it has been a bottom ten team. The next 8 games are against teams with a 66.3 win %( 118-60) if they do bad )2-6 or worse) logically it might be time to start the tank

In the NBA, logically, it never makes sense to tank when you've been without your star player and you're playing close to .500 ball. As long as you get your star back healthy, and you still have a decent chance of making the playoffs, you go all out. If we've learned anything, its that when it comes to the playoffs anything can happen if you have a superstar and your team gets hot. Plus, IMO, and I think both Cuban and Carlisle would positively agree, tanking is never an option, and more than likely never will be. This is one of the reasons I love Cuban for an owner.
