Default desperate housewife? Not in San Antonio!

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slu...parker-divorce

LOS ANGELES (AP)—Eva Longoria filed court papers Wednesday to divorce basketball star Tony Parker(notes), citing irreconcilable differences.

Longoria, a star of TV’s “Desperate Housewives,” and Parker, an NBA All-Star with the San Antonio Spurs, were married July 7, 2007. They have no children together.

In the filing, Longoria requested that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria. She had taken Parker’s name when they married.

The filing also stated the couple had a prenuptial agreement but no details were provided.

Longoria asked the court to require each side pay its own attorney fees. She also wants to receive spousal support from Parker but not pay any to him.

Longoria’s spokeswoman, Liza Anderson, said the actress had no comment. Parker wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Longoria, 35, did not indicate in the court filings when the couple broke up.

Parker, 28, signed a multiyear extension with the Spurs two weeks ago. At the time, the point guard from France insisted he and Longoria wanted to remain in San Antonio.

Tony Parker's Mystery Teammate Revealed

11/17/2010 2:58 PM PST by TMZ Staff
The father of San Antonio Spurs star Brent Barry -- whose wife Erin is reportedly the other woman in a Tony Parker love triangle -- tells TMZ he's worried that Brent will be "devastated" by the news.

Barry -- who played with Parker from 2004 to 2008 -- is in the middle of a divorce from his wife Erin Barry ... and earlier today, it was reported that she was the other woman who got in between Tony and Eva Longoria.

We spoke to Barry's father, NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry, who told us, "I feel horrible for my son. I'm in shock. I knew [Erin] was moving out of the house soon and SHE was the one that filed for divorce. This is the straw that broke the camel's back."

Rick added, "[Brent] is going to be devastated. I can't even imagine him going through this ... the divorce was hard enough news."

Ironically, (father) Rick Barry himself was reputedly a candidate for the NBA's all-time philanderers' team.

I dunno if anybody else noticed this, but I watched a bit of the Spurs game last night, and I swear Parker looked like a terminal patient or something. His game was fine, but he looked emaciated and his head was way too big for his shoulders/neck/chest.

I love 2k11.

http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comm...ital-problems/

It’s not uncommon for a developer to adjust a player’s ratings in a video game after problems on the field. 2K Sports has taken it a step further by lowering San Antonio point guard Tony Parker’s NBA 2K11 loyalty due to his reported affair.

Parker and Eva Longoria have ended their celebrity marriage amid rumors that he had an affair with a former teammate’s wife.

In a tongue-in-cheek part of its most recent update, 2K Sports lowered Parker’s loyalty rating to 0 and increased his “steal” rating to 79. This is the first time I’ve seen an update quite like this, to be certain. Ordinarily, I would question changing a player’s ratings for an off-court transgression but a teammate’s wife?

There’s no possible way that could be good for team chemistry. The loyalty rating is primarily used in the game’s Association mode and determines how likely a player is to resign with his current team.

There have been persistent rumors that Parker might depart the small market of San Antonio for the bright lights of someplace such as New York. Those rumors surround just about every free agent with dwindling time on his current contract, though. Even LeBron James, who had one foot out the door during Cleveland’s 2010 playoff run, didn’t garner a “zero” in loyalty. 2K Sports is clearly having some fun at the point guard’s expense. Another point worth noting: Parker was the cover athlete for the 2008 edition of NBA Live. EA Sports is 2K’s chief rival for basketball simulations, so that’s yet another reason for 2K Sports to rattle Parker’s cage.

There are some actual basketball-related updates to the latest patch, though. It fine tunes the game’s analog-based “shot stick” controls and takes care of freezing and glitches in My Player and Association Modes.
