First article out of my reactivated stats-engine:

Quote:
Ricky Rubio led the Minnesota offense to 170.78 Points per 100 Possessions (Offensive Efficiency) against the Jasons in the 4th (122.28 Overall) and he adds himself to a growing list of quick, young guards that abused the elderlies in the first games of this season. The Nuggets, led by Ty Lawson, posted an Offensive Efficiency of 144.02, outscoring them 49-32. Russell Westbrook and company (James "The Beard" Harden anyone?) outscored the Jasons 104-82 with an Efficiency of 141.28. Miami vs. the Jasons: 133.33. The only decent Defensive Efficiency came against the Raptors (102.08), who don't have that many players that cause problems breaking down your defense. Apart from that these are just horrible numbers.

After glancing through, two questions spring to mind (apologies if you addressed these and I just missed it; like I said, I only glanced at it so far):
1) Have the Mavs committed more TOs on offense when the Jason's were on the court together? The fastbreak points against got me thinking about that.

2) If you only consider lineups that have NOT included Odom, how do things look?

-Dirk Nowitzki on Jason Terry, after JET's 16 point 4th quarter against the Pacers.

The answers to your questions are not in the article:

1) No. As a team the Mavs give away 15.56 TOV per Possession, with the Jasons on the court it's 15.11.

2) Without LO, the numbers of the four backcourts are:
Code:
Backcourt OffEff	DefEff	EffDiff
Jasons 110.48	134.34	-23.86
Kidd-West 100.75	93.45	7.30
Terry-West 106.08	87.97	18.11
Roddy-Terry	100.90	82.13	18.77
The Jasons stay put, all other combos improve without LO.

€dit: Seems like Carter has a big impact on the Jasons backcourt. With him: 129.37 to 105.70 (+23.67). Without him: 95.34 to 144.94 (-49.60). That's huge, but sample size is small.

€dit2: From our Top5 lineups with at least 20 possessions played, only one features the Jasons (Kidd-Terry-Carter-Odom-Mahinmi +45.54pp100 on 31 Possessions).
