Default Trade talks not centered solely on Wallace

This got lost in the giant 'Sheed thread. Thought it might be fun for those of you who like to speculate... Nash hinted that the trade talks were not centered solely on Rasheed Wallace.

"Everybody assumes we were talking about one individual on our roster, when frankly we were talking about a number on both," Nash said.

So a deal with Dallas is dead?

"Dead is a strong word," Nash said. "I think it's safe to say there is nothing imminent."

I wish we still had Avery Johnson and his expiring contract. I would take Dale Davis and his zero rebounds last night. I thought dale was a free agent this offseason but it is now being reported he still has another year. Dale is the type of player I want in my center rotation.

Jahidi White is another one who is available. Although like Portland, Phoenix wants another ending contract.

this goes back to my band aid trade theory. Our deal is on the table ( Jamison and TAW for Sheed) ..if the blazers cant find anything better by the trade deadline then they know they can come to us and get Jamison with the expense of TAW. Thus, the trade is not dead as Nash said, but there nothing imminent.

Or maybe they were also discussing the Walker-issue that you have brought up, ddh33?
