Yeah, I had a neighbor whose car alarm kept going off all night because of the thunder - I'm totally exhausted...

I'm not really exhausted but the rain, more for the thunder, did wake me up twice. It started raining here just as I went to bed. I'm surprised our power didn't go out or anything. And it's a good thing I wasn't wanting to watch tv or record anything...because it definitely wouldn't have worked if I wanted it too haha.

It rained last night?
I noticed it was a little wet outside this morning. Huh.

Just imaging the german guys on this board that wake up every season like 70-80 times between 1:30am and 3:30am to watch the game

woke me up around 4... reached for my Ipod and put on some white noise on repeat to drown out the thunder. Worked like a charm.

People are woken up by outside noises? What is that like?
It takes way, way more than thunder to wake me up.

Exactly. I wake for nothing but the 3rd round of my second group of alarms in the morning.

I guess I was lucky.. the storms woke me up at about 6:45 and my alarm was set for 7:00 so I just stayed up and watched it pour for a bit while drinking a monster.

I've heard thunder twice and seen lightning once in 2 years. And no storms close enough to make the leaves move on the trees.

I am normally a light sleeper, but I was out like a rock last night. The lightning and illuminated clouds looked really cool around 11:00 PM though.
