yeah it was awful during last nights spurs vs. hornets game 7. I thought maybe the site was bogged down full of users. But it said only 112 people were online. Sooo...

Anyone know why this site has been slower than the rest of the interwebs lately?
I've had this problem on multiple computers/IP addresses/internet browsers and it seems to be getting worse every day. Are we having server issues? Why the slowdown?

Yeah, it's not horrible - it's just the difference between waiting 1-4 seconds or 5-10 seconds (up to 20 seconds on a bad day) whenever I click something.

I am pretty sure that option comes with upgrading your paid membership on this site so maybe your subscription ran out?

really? I thought contributions were all voluntary. I do recognize that someone has to pay for the server and the hosting provider..those things aren't free. And i do understand that DJ has done a lot and i do value this board....maybe not as much as i used to....but.I just don't recall this new system. I shouldn't have tried to change my avatar...dammit.
oh well. maybe i'll throw DJ some bones.
