It was only one game and he played limited snaps... but so far I'm glad that it looks like I was wrong about Jaylon. I thought he looked super stiff in camp and might not help out till at best late in the year and more than likely a year from now. I still loved the pick but I wasn't counting on him for anything this year. Outside of Lee no linebacker has flashed for us since maybe Dat Nguyen. We have had solid dudes like Bradie James but nobody that jumps off the screen. Jaylon quite clearly jumps off the screen, and if this is his floor? He's already damn good.

Cowboys better solve their sudden red zone issue. The rain didn't help but sometimes I swear we make things so much harder then they need to be. Zeke was unstoppable, getting 5yds on first down only to follow up with 2 pass plays and a fg.

I know Redskins o line is all kinds of in flux right now but Lawrence and Irving are looking really really good for us.

I hope Zeke fights this thing to the end, but perhaps he should just serve the games since there really isn't a way around it. You don't want to go through this again next season.

The owners need to get rid of Roger Goodell because this really has nothing to do with whether Zeke beat a woman or not. It has to do with the NFL proving it's dick is bigger than the player's union. Giving Zeke 6 games is a slap in the face to them more than him because there really isn't anything to be done about it. They could ban him from the NFL and walk away smiling.

If evidence suddenly surfaced tomorrow that Zeke was 100% innocent, who will be the one who has to answer all the questions? It's not the owners, it will be Goodell and I think the owners want it that way. So while I totally agree he needs to go, I think the owners never want to be in the position they were in with Ray Rice ever again and basically have just shifted all responsibility and future blame onto Goodell. The only issue Jerry had with him last I read was he made too much money in his eyes.

Failla,” who is an attorney that works for the law firm with NFL ties. To those in Cowboys Nation, if not those in the legal profession, this is something between “cheating” and “the appearance of impropriety,” which is specifically noted as a guide in the United States Courts Code of Conduct for judges.

Attorney David Wishnew, a partner at prominent Dallas law firm Gruber Hail Johansen Shank LLP, tells us, “This wouldn’t be collusion, but possibly a conflict, and should have been disclosed. Whether it was a conflict serious enough for recusal would depend on his role — was he just a lawyer in that firm or was he directly involved in CBA drafting/negotiations?”

The answer: It seems Mr. Failla was not involved, at all in the same way, that Mrs. Failla was.

“Regardless,” adds Wishnew, “making that challenge, after the fact of the denial of the injuction, would be unlikely to alter the outcome.”

Our point isn’t to cast aspersions on the honesty of a Federal Judge. (Or, not much, anyway.) But one cannot help but wonder about the pillow-talk conversations of Mr. and Mrs. Failla, and whether it ever turns to a sport that is now part of both of their careers. And if you’re a Cowboys fan, you can’t help but want to avoid interactions with anybody with the name “Failla.”
