Good to see Coco bounce back after that crappy outing last night. We need him to be rock solid, especially now that Frankie, Almanzar & Bucvich are all done for the year.

As I said in a previous post, Cordero will be fine. He is developing into a pretty solid closer.

Coco's leading the AL in saves but his era's still too high expect him to get that straightened out soon.

They lost this afternoon... but I got to go to yesterday's game for 5$. Tuesday's kick ass.
side note: when did they start shooting off fireworks when the wiffle-ball kids hit homeruns?

Good luck keeping that ERA down at the hitter-friendly Ballpark.

RE: Texas Rangers 05!
My goodness, what a brilliant game by Kenny Rogers & the defense. 30 consecutive scoreless innings now! How bout that catch by Mench to end it?

Most ever scoreless innings by a guy over 40?
Kenny went on another scoreless streak earlier in his career, didn't he?

Yes, back in 95 I think. Man, it was a great game to watch tonight. Brilliant performance by the old man.

Believe it or not the Rangers starting pitching has been the strong point of the team so far. If we can get our bullpen straightened out I see a playoff berth in the future although it's still early.

I hope the HO ain't too discouraged about his no decision tonight. Mench is hitting much better as of late.

Smack-down in progress... 10-0 Rangers, it's only the third. I want them to save some of that offense, I'm going to the game tomorrow!

RE: Texas Rangers 05!
Just got back from the game... fun, but don't know what we were THINKING, going to a day game. Like 99 degrees out there, it was pretty hard core. Not going to lie...Chan Ho looked really good. Highly encouraging. Only annoying thing was Coco making us wait out in the heat while he dialed up the drama.
SWEEEEEEEEEEP.

The Rangers next 30 games are against sub .500 opponents. The Rangers need to make hey in the division. Good teams beat awful ones the Rangers need to continue that against the Royals.

My mom was in the quartet that sang "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch of the Astros-Rangers game on Sunday (May 22nd). She said the crowd was very gracious and the game was great!
So, on behalf of my mother, thanks to all who were at the game.

Thank God for Baseball..... (...when the Basketball season ends).
A bit off-topic.... but I went to the Rough Riders game on Friday and that is a frickin' blast. If you live near Frisco, you should check it out.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (or something like that) lost! Only a game back , time for the Rangers to cruise by the Angels.

Tonight Hank has the chance to break Buddy Bell's record for most consecutive games at third w/out an error. He & Teixiera have both been excellent on the field this year.

Ryan Drese and Rod Barajas were in a scuffle in the dug out during the sixth inning a couple of nights ago. I don't think it was a big deal, but they had to be physically seperated.
