This is a roster problem first and foremost. You can always get a new coach. Fixing the roster is really hard with zero assets to trade.

I get that it's just frustration build up and I share it too. It just seems very premature to plant a flag on Kidd being the reason there's give up atm. There's about a dozen reasons that one could have given up hope before the 5th game of a season where Luka is playing poorly and KP is out again while we still have a better record than last year at this point. Blaming any coach after 5 games where they have a winning record it's probably just because there is pre existing issues.

Completely moronic. Luka needs to have the rock. He's the decision maker and best offensive player. I can understand if Lebron was in the lineup....but there is not one of that caliber in the lineup. Kidd is the guy who developed Giannis into a high usage player....why can't he see the same with Luka....the only thing I can gauge is that Kidd is using a lot of his regular season to build up a 2nd option behind Luka....and right now it's failing pitifully. In his playing days, he would take a turnover just to get a feel of his teammates. Maybe he's doing the same at this point, searching for that 2nd option. I mean last 2 years in the playoffs Luka did all he could.

I mean, I guess the positive is we can't get any worse offensively, but it's hard to see a clear way out when we don't have any playmakers. Luka will have to be superstar Luka every game just to have a chance to win against a mediocre or good team.

Someone else posted on twitter that only Luka and Brunson drove the lane. Like, no kidding because we literally don't have anyone else who can. This isn't about want. They can't.

Exactly! The worst move in basketball is DFS giving up an open 3-look from the corner then driving (if you can call it that) to the lane to take a contested short range shot that inevitably clanks off the rim.

Big game and measuring stick today in that we have a home game against Sac Kings who are looking much better with lots of young talent. This is a team that will be battling for a late playoff spot or playin spot. If they are clearly better than us today then we might have a big problem in that I can see us dropping from a mid tier playoff team down to a contesting for a playin spot. Very early but in terms of young talent the Kings are relatively loaded.
