Center prospects
Some names that I like at the Center position:
Hasseem Thabeet should be one of the first players chosen in the Draft. The 7'3 Center from UCONN is the probably the best of the Centers so far. Hibbert is the better player, but he is not as athletic and doesn't block as many shots as Thabeet does. DeAndre johnson out of Texas A& M, Marreese Speights out of Florida, Brook Lopez out of Sanford, or Nathan Jawai from Australia. He is raw, but has good potential and plays like a beast. Some we have shots at, others we may not. All of these players are athletic. They block shots, rebound and can score points. |

My guess is that Miami will go after the best center available to replace Shaq and Mourning...
(Wade, Marion, and Thabeet is a scary thought...)
