Mavs will be well over the cap, but will have 5.9mill (taxpayer MLE)
If he can be had for 5.9mill, I would be happy 1) Re-sign Brunson for as cheap as possible (15-20) 2) Use the MLE for Hartenstein (I think he'll get offers for 9-12 a year but who knows) 3) Pick up Green's team option 4) Use the draft pick on BPA or trade him to get rid of THJ/Bertans and/or upgrade the roster 5) Pray Burke opts out of Player Option It's not a huge upgrade, but it is my best-case scenario based on our situation (we have a late first and a late second, few tradable assets, are well over the cap, and only have taxpayer MLE) Last edited by EricaLubarsky; 04-08-2022 at 03:07 PM. |
