I think A. Randell El QB at Indiana should have been considered. He's arguibly the best QB in College. Maybe the best player all together. But his team pretty much sucked.

I would put my money on Dorsey, even though I hate that punk.. My left foot could kick his ass.
I'd prefer to see Harrington or even Grossman win it. But, Dorsey is a senior and has that win record.

I think Roy Williams (OK) or Julius Peppers (UNC) should've been invited.
Those are the top defensive players that come to mind.

My vote is for Grossman. But, being a sophmore, he probably wont win it. But I think his numbers are the best our there?...

WHAT!! No way. That would likely mean Nebraska would play Miami for the National Title. Even after they got spanked by CU and finished 3rd in THEIR conference. 3rd!!! That should eliminate you automaticly from Title contention.

I hope Nebraska wins the national title for 2 reasons.
1. they are in the big 12
2. if nebraska wins the national title, this totally invalidates the BCS and the bowl system. How can your next to last game be a 62-36 loss and then your next game be the national championship game? If this happens, there will be several pissed teams in the country and maybe then something would get done to get a playoff system in place

And how can the third best team in a conference be even playing for the national championship?
I've always hated the BCS - it's been proved that a 16 team playoff would make WAY more money for the NCAA and take very little more time.

plus, it would be so much more exciting....
i mean, the last few weeks have been amazing in college football..but it really means nothing because now we get to the 24 bowl games of which 1 game means anything...

Rob, they did indeed get robbed. But, I think that Nebraska would give MIAMI the hardest time out of the other teams you listed.
BRING IN A 16 TEAM PLAYOFF SYSTEM!!

Rob..if you're an Oregon or Colorado fan it would be in your best interests if Nebraska won. Then they would have to have a split champion, but I'm sure they could find a way for Nebraska to be national champions even if they lose. Nebraska's players must forcing some computer geeks to hack into the BCS system.

I agree with FROG. Nebraska will give Miami a better game than OREGON or COlorodo. Everyone says Oregon got robbed, but im totally not sold on that team. That conference has NO defense, and Colorodo will run it right down Oregons throat. JMHO

well, this just shows how f*ed the system is.
However, to think that Nebraska would give Miami a better game than colorado is ludicrous.
Yes, I think Nebraska has a chance..but colorado is the better team

They may have deserved it, but they wouldn't have had a chance of winning the game!!
