It’s my all-time favorite show, but it wasn’t until episode 4 that I knew I was going to love it.

Yeah, the show recovered quite nicely after the goofy and forgettable mesa verde nonsense.

Yep. Already looking forward to next season. They do cliffhangers well. And backstory, resolution, and fan service.

Ugh, Raised by Wolves ended so badly. Such a disappointment after what was set up to be a really strong Sci Fi series.

Good idea, starts strong, visually interesting, and then falls apart?

Seems like every Ryan Murphy show.

BTW has anyone seen his most recent show, Ratched?

Basically, yes. Emphasis on the visually strong part. Very cinematic, and it's TRYING to make you ask some difficult questions about spirituality, it just never really goes anywhere you want to be.

I highly recommend Mr. Robot. I watch literally any tv show smart people seem to enjoy, but this one slipped past me, somehow. It's sooooo much better than I expected.

It has been awhile since I've watched a show that completely captures my attention. I guess Cobra Kai is somewhat close to that type of show..but I need something.

What season are you on Murph?
watched 1st 2 seasons but don't have netflix so haven't tapped into season 3.

Started watching agents of shield - i know i'm really late to the party but i do like MCU. not bad so far for a tv show. still just season 1.

Kingdom (Netflix - MMA culture show. I'm half way through season 2)
Sinner (USA -> Netflix. Each season is a different case with same detective)
Queen's Gambit (Netflix - Finally a show that gets it all right when it comes to competitive chess)

Last but definitely not least
Ted Freaking Lasso! (AppleTV)

ROP coulda been great, but the slow slog and uninteresting characters made it so bland. Final episode was really good, but it can't make up for the rest of it.

Seconded for Fargo. Seasons 1-2 were amazing. Seasons 3-4 were pretty meh. Season 5 has been really solid.

New season of Fargo is a weird mix of great and terrible acting. Jon Hamm has been terrible in basically everything minus madmen. Steve from stranger things is great though.

Pulling my recommendation for True Detective. S4 has taken a plunge after a strong start. Will continue to follow for the remaining 3 episode, but it's missed the mark. I understand that S1 set such a high bar but no season has come close.

On the other hand, Fargo far exceeded by expectations. Solid season. Wouldn't surprise me if that is the last one to go out on top.

Masters of the air is a show that should've been made 20 years ago as it is still the same ole Spielberg schtick, but goddamn those air scenes are top notch. Wooden script though.

Saw Dune 2. Impeccable first hour and then like most movies these days goes for too long. Just got anticlimactic towards the end. It's crazy that I got to my seat at 3:05 yesterday and left at 6:15.
