The Coolest Guy at D-M?
The list of cool guys and girls is long - but the coolest of them all? Without a doubt, U2!!! What a good samaritan. I just wanted to sing his accolades and thank him for helping me out in a pinch!

I can echo that...U2 is without a doubt a kind soul.
he has gone WAY out of his way to help me...
u2sarajevo is the best thing about the band

RE: The Coolest Guy at D-M?
I'd agree, but U2 in a mod skirt is a very disturbing visual. It's not pretty.....you wouldn't like it.
my eyes......my eyes........aaaaaaahhhhh......

RE:The Coolest Guy at D-M?
Xerxes, I respect you ........but, I'm going to have to help you out with this one....
BaD radio has a segment called "Gay/Not Gay". It's where they talk about gay things that otherwise heterosexual men do. I'm sorry Xerxes, but this thread definitely doesn't fall into the "Not Gay" category.

RE:The Coolest Guy at D-M?
Yeah- I know. I thought about adding the word "hetero" to the title of the thread. But, I figured that it was inferred. U2 just really came through for me and he didn't have to. But, thanks for the 'gay/ not gay' reference.
Murph- where were you when I was doing battle with Kiki in regards to the sex-changing 4th grader last week?

I saw the thread...and I think I even commented in it....
As for this thread, I thought that you were a BaD radio listener.....and thought you'd enjoy the reference.

You are welcome. Thanks for the nice comments. Too bad the board bully decided to try and discredit your thoughtfulness.

If you weren't wearing a mod skirt, perhaps you'd actually do something about it....

Don't bring the moderator equation into this. Xerxes was attempting to thank me for something I did for him. You are obviously offended that someone here got accolades that wasn't named Murphy3. Get off your high horse and realize the world doesn't revolve around you.
Back on topic... thanks again Xerxes.

Bottom line..... Even though you're a mod, you can't touch me. It pisses you off that a non mod carries more weight around here than you.

RE: The Coolest Guy at D-M?
The only thing that "pisses" me off around here is the arrogant attitude you have with some posters (including myself). As a mod, I can and will touch you when you cross the line of breaking the forum Community standards.
Get over yourself.

Let's not go there Murphy. I apologize if I provoked that type of response from you. Cool off and I will to.
I mean, I'm already cool right? That's what this thread was all about.

RE: The Coolest Guy at D-M?
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

Can't name one. Sike, U2, KG, Chiwas, BBL, Chumdawg, LRB, Ames7, my fellow parrot FreshJive, Twelli. I'm sure I'm forgetting people, but I really like these forums!

RE:The Coolest Guy at D-M?
I'm dying to get into the fray here, but since everyone is "cool" now, I'll resist deconstructing this thread any further.
U2 has definitely "been there" for me a time or two, so I'd have to agree that he is quite cool. I must, however, refrain from nominating or voting for any one poster as "coolest". "I could no sooner chose a favorite star in the heavens!"
