Look. If you're looking for a reason why I will blame Marty, it will be if they don't kill this.

Well, on the vBookie the best you can do is get your money back..... but right now looks like more than 5 goals scored.
And way to go Stars.

I was in the middle of typing a post about how the stars got their usual 1 goal on the road, and they were done with the scoring....
And then... this is too frustrating. They're not playing their game. Thank god Luongo looks human today

The back & forth scoring makes me very nervous. We can't keep doing this. Very, very bad.

The Canucks only need to make it to the third before they change to a suffocating trap game with no attack and the game ends 4-2 empty netter.
If the Stars could get some sort of help from the refs or...maybe marty....
Ugh. Why do I care so much?

You can see the way the Nucks are starting to win the puck battles, and the Stars look confused. The game is shifting.
Too many penalty minutes have tired guys out, now you have guys out of rhythm because they didnt play much during the special teams stuff, and you have fresh guys with tired guys.
It's not meshing.

Zubov is the coolest Hockey player on the planet.
His lungs are black, but everyone has their faults.

I'm not sure what to think of this game. When it's all said and done I guess the penalties and the failed 5on3 opportunity will be pointed too. Maybe Turco on that one goal, but the defense was not communicating at all on that play either. They were just being careless.
Yes, Zubov rocks.

I told her we could start now during the break. They are 15 minutes right? So we can get almost half way through...

I don't know why I feel such despair...not like we don't come back from this exact situation all the time. I think Marty is playing not bad. Sorta like last year. There are other factors, but I can't help but feel like he's playing extremely average. Of course, Luongo is not a wall tonight...
We haven't had sustained pressure or momentum all night, mostly b/c of all the penalties. Luongo hasn't had to make like 4 or 5 saves in a row yet.

That's right ames. They can't get traffic in front. And they're losing puck battles. The Canucks look more energetic. despair is about right, unfortunately.

That's one thing I hate about playing West coast teams is the late nights. Although as long as you get OT it makes it all worth it.

I don't follow hockey at all. Can I join the bandwagon real quick?
Here's all I know. Dallas is the #6 seed, playing the #3 seed Canucks, and the Stars have some guy named Modano. They trail 3-2 after two periods of Game 1. Am I allowed on board?

I'm just going to keep remembering what a fun season it was. How many good times I had at Stars games, how many late nights spent celebrating good wins. 50 wins in the NHL is awesome.
It was a good season....a good season....

A couple of times tonight when on the penalty kill it sure looked like we were on the power play..... like that little sequence.
