Starting 5 after Roddys return
Considering we dont do a major trade for an SF like Prince/Jax/Wallace etc.
I dont think Peja or Cardinal are options, they are both just way too slow. I dont like the three guards starting a game. Thats just not a longterm option.
Its just time to break up that Terry-Marion combo, i think it just hurt us more not to start him. With Roddy (as longterm starter to maximise his time with Kidd together) we may also dont need that strong punch coming in.
You can still pull out Dirk alone early for Peja or Stevenson (short time three guards) and bring Dirk as usual back with Barea.

Well we aren't going to start Roddy right away he is going to have to prove that he is healthy and effective. I don't see the problem with starting Peja and playing him about 12-15 minutes a game

Giving Durant/Carmello/James/Pierce etc the free ticket to score as will and get hot?

If Roddy is ever inserted into the starting lineup, I definitely agree that Marion should be inserted with him.
I don't think it will happen though.

He doesn't have to guard them, plus in case you havent noticed 90% of the big time scorers in the league try to get teammates involved early

Well I remember before Roddy getting Injured they were open to letting Kidd come off the bench. But that plan obviously failed.
Kidd/Roddy/Peja/Dirk/Chandler
this is they are all 100% healthy (not including butler)
cause terry and marion really compliment each other off the bench quite well

Nah, Kidd said he was open to come off the bench at times but not every game!

I wouldn't want to break up the combo of Jet/Marion off the bench either. Peja alongside Stevenson could work because they bring a different type of skillset to the table. Peja's a guy for offense, Threevenson for defense. Eventually, Marion at the 3 and Roddy at the 2 may be our best lineup, but then we'd have a bench full of offensive guys with Jet, Peja and JJB.
One way or the other, I'm pretty confident that Carlisle will find a way to make it work. He's been pretty good rotation-wise this season.

One of the best things about this season IMO. Carlisle finally finding rotations that work and sticking to them.
