After having a fairly strong first 3 quarters, Vince is starting to look like a rookie.

Owens still had pretty respectable numbers though and some big catches too.

Vince did almost exactly what i predicted. Showed some flashes of promise and made some huge mistakes. Overall for his first start against this good of a D i was impressed. Bo scaife just became a viable fantasy te.

I have to agree with 5-0 - considering what Vince Young is and who he faced, he looked pretty solid (especially in the first three quarters). He made some mistakes thinking he could just run around defensive players like he did in college. Still, he's pretty tough to bring down, even on the pro level. Guys just have trouble tackling him.

I'm impressed with Julius Jones. 122 yards on 23 carries (5.3 ypc) ain't shabby. Maybe he'll be able to play at the level we were expecting of him last year. For whatever reason, he seems to have more quickness this year and doing a little better job making people miss.

Guys, nobody should get any expectations based on what our offense or defense was able to do today. Tennessee is a horrendous football team, and they lost one of their best defenders midway through the game.

This was a preseason game with our starters against a 3rd/4th team defense/offense.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, why are the expectation police out all the sudden? I don't see anyone throwing out super bowl predictions or anything. The philly game is going to be crucial for this division race given the way Washington and New York have looked thus far.

You know, I know some of you are being sarcastic with your comments, but comparing Tennessee to a friggin college team is so SO stupid. Do you have any idea how bad the beating would be if Ohio State, (number 1 in the country), were to play Tennessee?

STOP THAT SHIT... There are 3-5 pro players on the Buckeyes... There are 45ish on Tennessee, (that entire team isn't NFL stuff). They may be the worst in the league, but they will win a few games. Do you REALLY, REALLY think the Buckeyes would win a single over a 16 game schedule?

Please... For the second time, STOP THAT SHIT!!!

Oh, and WAY TO BLOW OUT THE INFERIOR TEAM COWBOYS... Get ready for next week... The circus is going to roll through again!

Yeah, i laughed when people said UT could beat the texans last year and i think the same thing now. As for the cowboys, you can only beat who they play and they did. Im happy.

Vince actually did a decent job today, and I was pretty impressed with what JJ did.

After the game, he took off his shoes and gave them to Titans cornerback Adam Pacman Jones. Why? Jones asked for them. "I know Pacman; he's a great guy," Owens said. "He asked for my shoes and I gave them to him. He's going to have to put some tissues in those shoes. Those are some big shoes to fill."

I'll leave out most of the opinion but great win today.

And...I hit a hole in one after the game on the Galveston Municipal golf course. Even better.....I hit 14 fairways off the tee today.

What a freaking day!!!!!

Please. Tennessee is a fine football team. And our Cowboys just flat dismantled them in every way possible. This is a finely-tuned, well-oiled machine we have here. I pity the Eagles next week. They will doubtless suffer the same fate. May the rest of the NFC East bow in obeisance to the rightful owners of the division championship.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but I found it very, very interesting that Brady James said in a post-game that they found out *two days ago* that VY would start.

I heard a lot of bragging this morning about the TN media keeping it under wraps. But evidently that didn't make a difference.

Makes you wonder how that news got to the Cowboys.

common sense is how they knew, maybe?

just kidding... i have no idea.

Maybe the New Jersey Con Man (parcells) has connections.

One thing is for sure....the Titans are AWFUL

So far, IMO, we've only seen the Cowboys play one REAL team....the Jags. Who lost today to an aweful team. So my argument is shot to hell. Seriously though....next week will tell all!!!

Sh$^......Auburn or LSU or Oregan (suck it sooners) could've beaten Tenn. I definitely take no pride in beating Tenn Titans. VY = not ready

The Titans have some talent, but yes, they do suck. Still and all, we dismantled them in every way possible.

The Eagles have no chance.

They did more than that, sikey my boy. They asserted their dominance over the entire NFC. They will be a very, very tough out in the playoffs to come. Their defense is awe-inspiring, and their offense is not matched by anything else in the NFC. They are a walking, breathing, earth-eating bulldozer. I pity the teams that find themselves in their wake.

Doc...how can you miss a fairway at Galveston municipal? I'm pretty sure that's a very easy course, with very wide fairways and NO rough.

No?
