Worth It?
After last nights game vs Seattle I was curious to see how the trade for booth for fortson has worked out, and after reviewing the stats, it doesnt look good for us. Salary cap issues or not, look at these numbers so far for 2004-2005.
BOOTH: FORTSON: FG% .324 FG% .513 FT% .800 FT% .878 REBOUNDS: REBOUNDS: OFF .40% OFF 3.10% DEF 1.40% DEF 3.40% PPG 2 PPG 9 Big difference! What do you guys think?

He fits better with the Sonics then with the Mavs. Besides we didn't need a banger at the 4. We needed a banger at the five. The other big contribution is the Sonics bench. Ray Allen is playing like the best shooting guard in the conference.

I suspect from his comments after the trade that Fortson might have made some enemies in the locker room.
Also, don't forget that we traded for Booth before we had Damp, so presumably he would have received a lot more time here if the second trade didn't go down.
