Default Player weights

According to last night's game program, Josh Powell is 6'9", 225 lbs. It was interesting to watch him guarding Mike Dunleavy, listed at 6'9", 230 lbs--because, from where I was sitting, J-Po has 30+ pounds on Dunleavy.

Meanwhile, Rawle Marshall looked every bit of his 6'7" 190 lbs. Wow that's skinny.

So much lying goes on in height and weight listings... it's like 40 times in Dave Campbell's Texas Football every year. I remember one year when I was about 15 or 16, Hamilton listed like 5 guys who could run under a 4.4. RIGHT.

40 times are such a joke. I read an article--can't find it now, I'll see if I can dig it up--that basically showed what a crock they are. Like, half the receivers in the NFL have better 40 times than, say, Michael Johnson in the first 40 yards of the 100. So either the world of track and field is being deprived of hundreds of world-class sprinters, or the world of football is totally kidding itself about guys' 40 times.

Yea weight's in the NBA are bs. Never believe them. I remember Shaq even admitting that player's just give their weights. Their's no weighing or anything. Hell just look at the Mavericks. You meant to tell me Dirk Nowitzki is 20 more pounds heavier than Benga Lol? Benga at 220 is a joke lol. Michael Finley weigh's more than him if that's his real weight which it isn't.

Someone who has a good eye can estimate this easily. Dirk is around 240. Benga is around 260.
