Do you realize that we will most likely be in 4th by the end of the week? We are one game behind the Jazz. Tomorrow night, we play Atlanta, while they get Sacramento. Even if they win, we stay just a game behind--and then we play them on Saturday. If (when) we win, that will put us into a tie with them--and possession of the tie-breaker with 3-1 on the season series--and thus into 4th place.

Frankly, despite their problems, I don't think we'll catch the Lakers. Their final schedule is pretty soft and whatver their problems they do still have Shaq and (eventually) Kobe. The Jazz on the other hand look extremely vulnerable with one head-to-head game to settle the matter.

I hope we dont hafta play the Lakers in the first round. They will be very tough to beat. Either we should climb to 3rd, or drop back down to 6th. We only have 2 games left against bottom of the barrel teams, Atlanta and Golden State. Although, the way we are playing, it shouldn't be much of a problem.
