We will win... We have dropped our previous three against the Lakers, but that was before Juwan and Booth came to town. We are playing great, and the Lakers have lost their last two games by a total of 45... Kobe is also almost certainly not playing. Fischer/Shaw/Fox/Grant vs. Nash/Fin/Dirk/Howard- it's what dreams are made of. If we lose tonight, it is going to be because Shaq goes for 38 and 16. Dirk and Fin are going to Feast tonight... Mark my words, we win by 16...

Mavs will stop double- and triple-teaming Shaq, thus allowing him to get his 53pts and 23rebs. Howeer, despite his valiant attempt, the Mavs will still remain undefeated on this road trip by beating them 95-53. Oh waitaminute..almost forgot about the four other guys who'll be running around in yellow jerseys. Mavs 95, Lakers 65

I would love to see Howard and Bryant try to play Shaq in single coverage, while Booth and Bradley lurk on the weakside looking for the block... Our first four is so much better than the Lakers, it isn't even funny. Kobe evens things up, but he is probably not playing tonight...

We win this one also ...Ive picked the previous 2 wins ...& I also say we win this one +5. Without KOBE,.....if he suits up its a toss-up. Hopefully, Juwans finger dislocation doesnt affect his awkward shooting stroke..

dirk hits for 35. that's all i know. he always tears the lakers up..and he's been a bit of a shooting slump. the lakers have no one that can guard him one on one. look for him to kick some yellow a*s.

I would like to say that we win this game but truth is, Im not so sure.
If Kobe plays, I say we don't win. If he's out again, I like our chances much better. It should be interesting since we've haven't played the Lakers with Howard and Booth on board. And we know what differences they can make in a game. But, Nelson hurts us when it comes to the Lakers. His insistance that our guys foul Shaq every time he touches the ball kills us. Or the double-triple teaming on Shaq, where guys like Madsen, Rider and especially Fox kill us.
We just need to remember that if we lose, it's not the end of our season. Of course, I'd hate to think the Lakers would sweep us this season.

it is hard to sweep a season series from a quality opponent. This is only reason I like dallas at all tonight.

With Kobe out I think it's going to be a romp... We win by 16 in a blowout as LA self-destructs in a car wreck of a game...
