On this road trip I've noticed that when Booth and Bradley are in the game at the same time it shuts down the other team's offense down. I didn't see them in the lineup at the same time in the Sacramento game but it obviously was not necessary. In particular I noticed how it seemed to turn the game around in Utah and that it had a major impact in the Laker game. Unfortunately, against the Lakers, they only put those two in at the same time after Booth had picked up his fifth foul but it worked well when the Mavs used that lineup. I think we will see more of the two-headed monster for the rest of the season and also in the playoffs. The only question is, who should be on the bench when they are in, Nowitzki, Howard? I guess those are the kind of problems the Blazers have. As long as the players are as unselfish as the Mavs are it is a good problem to have.

I agree with you. I think the key is the unselfishness of this team. We don't have a Kobe or Shaq star player (2 of the 5 best players), but we have several that could be in the top 10 or 15. Another key is that winning is much more important that playing time or shots.

I think the 2-headed monster will come into play when one of the big 3 needs a rest, otherwise I think Howard will be the odd man out. Unless of course he is going off on the team like last night against Sacramento.

It is amazing to imagine Bradley, Booth, and Nowitski all in the game at the same time. Bradley and Booth are primarily defense people with scoring second on the mind. Nowitski is the opposite, but I've seen him making a ton of effort in improving his D. When all of them learn to play together, the middle should be shut down completely forcing the opposition to take long outside jumpers.

I think one of the reasons Nowitski is working on his defense is that he's tired of being called "Irk" (cause he ain't got "D&quot.
