Ouch, I was so happy seeing this guy on TV 0 times a week. Dirk is not playing well right now, he is getting fouled a lot though with no calls. I'm a bit baffled. But I'm glad the good guys are mostly playing through the once again horrible officiating. But it makes you wonder if you're better off complaining, as it works for the Spurs.

I don't get this halftime analysis. This is EXACTLY where the Mavericks want the Spurs at the half. They don't want to give it everything they've got in the first half, and then let the Spurs make a run back at them and get the crowd involved. No. The Mavs want to put this away in about an eight-minute stretch starting with roughly two minutes left in the third. All they need to do until then is keep it close to tied.

My sense says that the Mavs are going to win this game tonight. And I don't expect it to be close in the last minute or two. SAS is smoke and mirrors right now.

the mavs are shooting 51%, the spurs are shooting 42% and we're down 2.

there is a mental block..and dirk is still taking fadeaways over tony parker. He was driving to the bucket much more last season..what the hell happened?

Dirk has been blocked by Duncan every time he drives to the hoop so shooting outside shots isn't such a bad idea for him. After all, he is one of the best shooters in the league. Now he just needs to get hot.

It deserves pointing out, given that Howard is the leading score in the game thus far, how terrible he has been on the road to this point in his career. If he's in the process of turning that around, it's a great thing for the Mavs.
