Blair can offensive rebound. But boy is he terrible on defense. Having him as the center is going to be killer.
And Dirk not rebounding the Mavs are in trouble on that end of the court.......

Our defense doesn't exist.

I love Marion, but you simply can't miss that at-the-rim shot.

Dirk should already have 5-6 boards by now but he just can't rebound anymore.

Dirk's rebounding effort is piss-poor.
The game in general reminds me of the Nellie-days. High scoring games with a defense which doesn't exist...

Other than a couple plays, Calderon still looks a little "off".
Ellis needs to attack that rim all day.
Millsap can be a monster...and was one in the 2nd quarter.

I hope fans weren't trying to pretend that we'd be a good defense team this season. That just simply isn't the make up of the team.

That is Matrix ball. Make crazy off the glass shots and scoop shots....miss the most wide open lay up imaginable.
He can be maddening. But we love him.

The closing stretch of games last season he averaged almost 8 per. He CAN do it, but it seems like the fire to grab those boards is dim.

We could easily be up in this game, but a few mistakes have been made. Just gotta come out strong in the second half.

Monta has had at least 3 pretty ugly TOs tonight...otherwise, a stellar game from him.

Not being very talented at D has NOT been there problem tonight. The have just been lax, indecisive, and sloppy.
Internally, Carlisle is going nuts.
They can't consistently win like this.

4 of them have been of the unforgivable variety.

So many "in and outs" for the Mavs tonight.
Calderon can't buy a bucket...and he has had a few great looks.

Ellis thought he could dish it to Dalembert like he can to Blair....big mistake.
