Dribble penetration off of high screens and pick and rolls are the NBA's staple offense. Now, the Mavs finally have a guard who is nearly impossible to keep out of the lane rather than simply struggling to contain one playing for the opponent.

I'm still optimistic for Ledo. The dude has some crazy speed and length, but the dude certainly plays like a high school prospect that hasn't played for a year and has yet to play competitive ball against any defenders better than high school seniors. When he plays next to a bunch of 3rd/4th stringers, the spacing is terrible and makes him look even worse.
A year in the D-league will certainly help and I'm looking forward to having Larkin back so that he can get more time in garbage time next to Mekel. Last edited by EricaLubarsky; 11-06-2013 at 02:11 PM. |
