E. Najera: Mexico
Dirk: Germany
Nash: Canada
Finley: USA

On the contrary it could also lead to unnecessary fights and sentiments from people. If someone fouls steve nash hard, canadiens might think it is a result of the player hating Canada. Why even take a risk.

i'm sure any german hat follows the nba knows who dirk is, likewise with mexico and najera, canda and nash, etc.

they don't need a little flag on their jersey to let people know they know what country their from. and like others have said, they are playing for the mavs. this isn't the omlympics or international play.

Yes, it will be very difficult to see a flag on the players jerseys, even tou I was talking only about the mavs players.
Yes, this is the NBA not the Olimpics
Yes, they are playing for the Mavs, but you can always hear the announcers say something about theyre home country.
No, I don't think we have an international war if someone hit a flagrant on Najera, Dirk, Nash, etc.
But one thing is for sure, and maybe you all agree with me on this:
If any of you could have the opportunitie to be in the greatest league of the world, and you were from a dif. country, and someone tells you this idea, and ask for your opinion, what your answer will be?
