Walker had no turnovers and took no 3's this game.....he missed a ton of shots but were they bad shots???? ok maybe you will argue that any shot walker takes is bad but is that really objective?? he didn't play well again and the fact that his mintues are spotty has something to do with it...he's playing a bench role player's role yet he's starting how does that even make sense??

HE needs to come off the bench as the Mavs 6th man......as long as his role is this 20-25 min a game type.....

I really feel sorry for Walker.

At the same time, he makes me hurt all over when he does some of things he does on the court.

Early on in the season Walker wasn't playing great every night....he had his fair share of bad and horribly pathetic games yet the TEAM stuck with him and rode out the bad while taking the good....this led to a surprising 9 game win streak early this year in Feb. where Walker was point foward and not jacking up shots.....he was getting way more minuts and more consistently gaining confidence...now he's just a spare tire....that gets deflated every time he misses a shot or turns it over which leads to a sub......it's really sad....

PubaNWO, You finally turned yourself into MIghtyToine. If Nellie only can see half of what the fans in this forum see, Walker should be on the bench long long time ago. You can see it in Walker's face and his reactions that he 's truly a selfish ass when he sit on the bench.

The problem with walkers inside stuff is that he's so averse to contact that he throws up some junk as soon as someone gets within arms length of him. He won't take that extra step to get to the hoop when someone is contesting him. So by "distance" they weren't bad shots, but if you saw them they were bail-outs, some sort of off-balance hook that he never hits.

Jamison CAN hit those so I'm ok with him not powering it, but walker cannot and it's junk.

Don't take Puba seriously....I logged on to ESPN late last night to check out the box score since I didn't see the game, and Puba compltely spammed their board defending Walker.

He says one thing here...and another thing there.

He's a Celt fan and always will be.

Don't feed him.

Walker's line might not look bad, but he sucked tonight. I feel bad for the guy because he is better than this, imo. He just doesn't get what we need from him here in Dallas.

He takes and misses too many 3's. He can't even nail layups anymore. He's not playing smart basketball at all.

I've been saying this for awhile now....Walker is an EASTERN-CONFERENCE Player. He never was cut out for the Run-and-gun West. He's a halfcourt player ALL THE WAY who runs occasionally on the break....

Plus, he needs to be the #1 or #2 option on a team in order to be effective.....It's sad 'cause he could've been one heck of a roleplayer for us. But hey....no one can say that he wasn't given plenty of chances here, can they? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]
