Obviously, they took San Antonio out of the game when they tossed Nick on that ticky-tack stuff.

I know its tough, but perhaps you should go back and read the beginning of the first post. You would've saved yourself that precious energy you lost by typing that post.

Listen, Allah, the Mavs fans don't start chants when a foul doesn't go their way. If there were ever an easy target, it's entitled Spurs fans.

Damn right this thread is meant to clown Spurs fans. It's rather an entertaining sport. A bit too easy and simple for my tastes, but enjoyable regardless.

The last I read was that the NBA has already anointed the pistons. Boy for as good a team as the sk*rts are, their fans are some of the most paranoid and woe is me I've ever seen.

Yup, it's a MAVS board. I'm not sure I've ever seen so many fans explaining away a 20point ass-kicking on the referees when both teams get about the same number of fts? What a persecution complex.

It wasn't one foul , but rather a collection . But yea, i don't agree with that either.
generally when the fans think somethings bullshit, they'll let their feelings known.

As for the spurs fans being easy targets, i don't know where you got that from.
While we get clowned by you guys, you guys practically get clowned by everybody.
I think it would be much easier to attack you guys then it would be us.

San Antonio sp*r fans have also proved quite capable of "clowning" themselves, as any perfunctory examination of recent sp*r fan posts on this board should make manifestly clear to the examiner (notably, including the pig-shitted and befouled, foolish posts that sp*r fan, Mr. Terrorist 'alahu akkbar' has made over the last day or three)...

Hey, listen, when you've been the dredge of the league for a decade, you don't bring a sense of entitlement with you. I think that the great, great majority of Mavs fans--those on this board included, and certainly those in the arena--are well grateful for whatever success we have. If anything, local fans UNDERRATE their team, which is quite unusual in sports.

Spurs fans, though. Ugh, don't get me started. I've been watching basketball for about twenty years now, and I don't remember ever hearing a home crowd chant that an official sucks, before tonight. The thing with Timmy throwing up his hands and looking like you just stole his lunch money never sat well with me, but I didn't know it extended to the fans. The Spurs fans tonight set a new record in terms of entitlement.

The thing with duncan and his questioning the refs is that all those foul calls are iffy, and the type a person sitting at home would say how was that a foul. You don't see duncan really arguing obvious calls too much.

As for the fans, you're lying if you say mavs fans have never chanted something like "bullshit" after a rash of calls that went against you guys.
For the javie sucks chants, he's not well liked in san antonio. Him and this other guy they seem to think has a thing against them.

I guess what I don't get is that Duncan should be the LAST guy complaining about calls. Basically, if a guard manages to find Duncan in the post, a foul is ensuing. It's the surest bet in all of sports.

I have never seen Duncan NOT argue a foul. I have never seen Ginobili drive through the lane without having his life endangered by a mysterious object that causes his limbs to flail. I have never seen a 21st century Michael Finley slasher.

Fouls are no excuse we were called for 27 pf and the spurs had one less called against them at 26.

Nick Van Exel was ejected. Nick Van Exel would have won the Spurs the game.

I am sick of people attacking allahu's perceived religion because he's a Spurs fan. Even if he is Muslim, that doesn't make him a Terrorist. That is uncalled for.

Show a little more class.

Duncan argues virtually every call, and the rare ones he doesn't, he shows contempt towards it one way or another. He never takes it like a man.

With all that said, fans at the SBC Center managed to actually complaint more about the calls than the Sp*rts did. It does trickle down.

Funny "they call travel before it happens" rhetoric. They did, then corrected it by having a jumpball at half court which the Spurs won, and had a fresh shot clock.

Well, this is true enough, but who on the Kings could handle him?

I'll give you Diop and even Damp (though I shouldn't have to give you Damp). But when Dirk covers him one-on-one, ticky-tack fouls should be out the window. Those are two MVP candidates, and this is the playoffs. If Dirk can't do a damn thing against him there without giving him a foul, then what good is the game? Just give it to Duncan and take your throws, you know?

No reason. It wouldn't have made any difference either way.

Trust me, you can go there and ask if they know banks91, and maybe one person may know. I think i've got like maybe 500posts, for like a year of posting. That's pretty low.

That place is basically like a clique. Most of the main posters seem to know each other.
Unless you're a consistent troll, or act wild, you're not gonna get much attention over there.

I stopped trying to make serious points, cuz most times you'll make a good post and have it completely passed without comment.

It's kinda that way over here. DrBio makes really good basketball points, but most people just ignore him. He's about 30,000 posts in, and he still hasn't figured it out.

This was the most hilarious quote I found over there:

Quote:
I don't buy into conspiracy theories -- but whenever a coach complains about the officiating EARLY in a series -- they will ALWAYS get calls in the next game.

I sometimes with Pop would employ the same idea. He won't though.
That's the biggest bullshit I've ever read. Seriously Pop was "talking" to the refs in all of the first three timeouts. That quote shows how little they refelect on themselves...

I am sure this has been said in another thread but I will say it here anyway in response. Arne, did you watch the post-press conference with Coach Pop? He earned any ounce of respect I haven't given him yet. He gave no excuses and praised the Mav's. Then he made it clear AGAIN that the ref's had nothing to do with the loss.

Yeah, I know that, he doesn't do something like that after games, which is cool. But during game one he was constantely complaining to the refs.
