The hand jobs were reportedly inept.
Westboro Baptist Church pickets Rockets v. Thunder last night in OKC to protest the NBA's having a gay player.

Unless we can't possibly live a good (enough) life.
What matters is not your opinion, or my opinion, or Marcus Aurelius's opinion, or Chris Broussard's opinion. What matters is what is actually true.

Then what's the point of even existing at all, from a religious perspective?

From a religious perspective, that depends on the religion.
From a "what is actually true" perspective - that would depend on what is actually true.

I was not trying to argue for a particular worldview. Just pointing out a flaw/gap in the proposition.

Truth. Jason Collins is gay. Broussard is not a fan. The rest is opinion.

Jews are another religion. Hitler is not a fan. The rest is just opinion.

Religion is a choice, although some say you are born into your religion. Sexual preference is genetics, although some people say it's a choice. How you deal with disagreement over these things is what matters. Hitler dealt with it very badly. Broussard kind of just stated his disagreement. I think he's deluded, but that's just my opinion.
