Effective choke by the Bobcats, missing free throws down the stretch and not be able to hit a shot, either. Still, the Bobcats have played well in most of their games so far, having a chance in the last couple of minutes in each of those games to get a win...just can't seem to get a shot to fall at the end of the game.

Yeah, with a little bit of "seasoning" they'll be a perfectly middle of the road bad team, rather than bad in historic proportions.

Not bad actually, considering their situation and the fact that they were willing to bite the bullet and go for a bunch of cheap young guys to possibly build on, rather than filling up on mediocre but established vets who'd make 'em more respectable in the short run, but wouldn't help their future at all.

I have been inmpressed with Charlotte so far this year. They have been competitive for the most part, and they have some young guys that have really come on strong. I dont think that it is unreasonable to say that they will be competing for a playoff spot NEXT year. They are gunna have about 18 million dollars to spend this summer, which enough to get some top quality players and some good role players. Pair that with a high draft pick... they are in good shape
