I think Green will be a fan favorite

Terry is going to make us forget Curry while hopefully defending and staying healthy.

Co-signed. I'm a firm believer in building through the draft. You get your superstar and then draft solid guys around him that you can develop into reliable role players. That's how dynasties are built- or at least that's how they're built for teams that can't just sign LeBron James or Kevin Durant.

Lots of youth and much needed perimeter upgrades need to develop them now to make team deeper and better

How much better did we get defensively tonight? I realize three of these guys are rookies, but even as rookies, I feel like they're better defenders than the guys we had before. And I haven't really seen too much of Richardson, but from what I've seen he's a solid wing defender.

And let's face it...Seth Curry was a knee-jerk reaction last offseason when the Mavs were caught flat footed. He has an OK season, but I'm quite happy with the replacements.

Woulda been cool to have both Bey brothers, but I'm wondering if they knew they were getting Tyler and decided against Shaddiq.

Or maybe they pulled the Seth trigger when Bane got taken at 30.

We traded a specialist for a more well rounded (2 way) player. We desperately needed this.

I love the trade but let's don't sell Seth short. He was arguably one of the best shooters in the league. That's going to be missed for sure especially in a season that's right around the corner. I think the plan is why HOPE Terry becomes the shooter Curry is.

With not much of a offseason and no summer league...Richardson is a much better defender than Curry but I don't know if we are going to rely on the young guys this year aside from garbage time.

They pulled the trigger when they knew they could replace Curry with Bane or Terry...

Philly and the Mavs both got players that should fit their teams better than the player they had. Nice that the Mavs also picked up Bey.

Richardson has a player option for 21/22 which would give us even more cap space if he opts out.

How is it not an upgrade? Richardson is an amazing two-way player.

I loved Seth as a person and his shooting was fire, but he was so bad defensively, that he often couldn’t play. He’d get you a three and cost you two layups. That was when he was healthy. Dude was perpetually injured with mysterious leg problems. That’s not a guy you want long term.

Selling high on Seth was the right move. Wish we could have done it for Thybulle but getting Richardson + another stab at a wing prospect in Bey is absolutely a win.

Another Arky, Mason Jones, would be a threat for PT on an NBA team.

Another Arky, Mason Jones, would be a threat for PT on an NBA team.

Yeah, I always liked Seth, but this seems like a fantastic return. We DESPERATELY need perimeter defense, and Richardson gives us a major upgrade there. Throw in Bey as a sweetener, and I think Donnie Nelson's record on winning trades just continued.

PF is still looking shaky as heck. Really only DFS and Kleber although at 6’9” Doncic isn’t terrible at bodying up most PFs
