Default The World of Doug Christie

http://mvn.com/dougchristie/2007/09/...azers-workout/

DOUG CHRISTIE IMPRESSED THE PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS TODAY!

Here are some of the comments from the Blazers brass that attended the workout, including head scout Chad Buchanan:

* “He looked like the best player we had in the gym today”
* “He is in great shape”
* “He made the game look easy”
* “His skills are stronger than ever”
* “He has really taken great care of his body”
* “From the players to the staff, we were highly impressed.”

Coming off my first workout for an NBA team, I am very happy and looking forward to the others I have planned. It felt great to be back on the court with the players and play basketball. When my agent called to tell me they wanted to see me workout, it was great news. Portland is going to be a good team going forward. The injury to Oden is unfortunate, but he’s a strong player who will have plenty of time to rehab and return. I’ve worked very hard to get back to 100%. I’m also very excited with how I played in Jamal Crawford’s summer league here in Seattle. I’m ready to get back out there on the court this season.

I hope he joins them. It'll be funny to watch the guy play again.

I don't know why Portland would want him. They have a good thing going, so reason to spoil it.

Portland needs to remember the failed experiment with the Clippers last season. There is a reason this guy who "looks like the best player in the gym" & "whose skills are stronger than ever" is not playing with anyone. One of those reasons is the baggage he brings with him-namely his wife. I'm sure there are other reasons also. Although since I'm a MFFL and don't really care what Portland does- I'd say buyer beware !!!!

that is just so so sad, how can anybody live a life like that? His wife needs to give him some space and he needs to grow some balls to tell her to give him that space. All that crap about him wanting to live that kind of life style is CRAP, everybody knows he is a pu**y whipped cake.
